ARMADILLO 3rd General Assembly Takes Place in Freiburg

The ARMADILLO consortium successfully held its 3rd General Assembly and Plenary Meeting on October 9–10, 2025, hosted by Jobst Technologies GmbH in Freiburg, Germany. The two-day hybrid meeting brought together project partners to review progress, discuss technical developments, and plan the next steps in achieving the project’s objectives.

The meeting began with a warm welcome from Jobst Technologies and NSD, followed by updates on project management, user requirements, and technical progress across all work packages. Partners discussed recent achievements in in-situ GHB detection, forensic evidence collection, and the pilot demonstration and validation campaigns, as well as upcoming plans for dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities. Ethical considerations and compliance with EU standards were also reviewed to ensure the project’s continued alignment with best practices.

The discussions concluded with a wrap-up session outlining the key priorities for the next reporting period, followed by an optional visit to Jobst Technologies’ facilities, where partners gained valuable insight into the company’s innovative research environment.

The meeting marked an important milestone for ARMADILLO, reinforcing collaboration and ensuring that all partners remain aligned toward delivering advanced detection, monitoring, and data integration solutions that contribute to a safer and more secure society.
