ARMADILLO Unites with EU Projects

Collaboration among various EU projects is crucial for amplifying impact and fostering innovation in tackling complex societal challenges. At the ARMADILLO Project, ICS is proud to drive meaningful discussions aimed at addressing organized crime through advanced technology, cross-projects collaboration, and forward-thinking strategies.

In a recent virtual meeting, project coordinators from three distinct EU-funded initiatives came together to share insights, showcase their groundbreaking work, and identify potential synergies for future cooperation. These projects include:

PERIVALLON: Focused on combating environmental crime, this initiative leverages cutting-edge investigative tools to enhance monitoring, detection, and enforcement capabilities.

ARIEN: Utilizing AI-powered methodologies, ARIEN is dedicated to disrupting drug production and trafficking by enhancing intelligence gathering, prediction models, and operational efficiency. 

ARMADILLO: Designed specifically for law enforcement agencies, ARMADILLO offers next-generation drug detection solutions, ensuring greater precision and effectiveness in tackling illicit substances.

The meeting was a significant step toward strengthening collaboration across these initiatives. Participants explored joint training programs, shared technological resources, and discussed AI-driven risk assessment strategies. By integrating expertise and technological advancements, these projects are committed to developing ethical, impactful, and future-ready solutions to combat organized crime.

As these collaborative efforts gain momentum, several key events will provide platforms for further engagement and knowledge exchange:

• Days of Corporate Security (May 19-20, 2025): ARIEN and ARMADILLO will take the stage, presenting their innovative approaches to crime prevention and security enhancement.
