ARMADILLO at the 17th International Conference “Days of Corporate Security”

ARMADILLO proudly participated in the 17th International Conference “Days of Corporate Security”, organised by the Institute of Corporative Security Studies (ICS) at the Grandis Hall, Brdo Congress Center in Slovenia. The conference is considered one of the leading international events in the field of security risk management and corporate security. 

Within the framework of the Conference, the ARMADILLO project was represented by the Director of Research, Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety NCSR "Demokritos" Dr. Panagiota Petrou, who delivered a presentation titled “Enhancing Public Safety: The ARMADILLO Approach to Drug-Facilitated Sexual Crime Prevention.”

The presentation highlighted ARMADILLO’s innovative approach to addressing drug-facilitated crimes through advanced technological solutions, interdisciplinary research and collaborative prevention practices. Emphasis was placed on the project’s efforts to support the rapid detection of substances such as GHB and contribute to the protection of the community. 

During the session, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about how the project combines research, innovation, security expertise and stakeholder collaboration to tackle this societal and security challenge.
